Abstract Assignment - D Period Fall 2014

The images below are from the Fundamentals of Photography Abstract Project.  The students were asked to create images that show good use of light and shadow, as well as a strong use of design.  These photographs are ones the class thought stood out the most during our critique.  The name of the photographer proceeds the image.

Eleanor Dillon - Digital Photo 2 Portfolio

These images are a selection from Eleanor Dillon's final portfolio in Digital Photography Two.  Eleanor's work is a black and white study of a dancer done outside the studio.  Her interest was not only in the grace and form of the dancer but the abstract quality of the dancer in an outdoor environment.  These photographs were done during the Spring term, I have been behind in getting them up on our blog.  Enjoy.
