Photo Two / Victoria Buseck

The final portfolio to post from Photo 2 is by Victoria Buseck. It is not one of grand scenes or big vistas. The images are those we pass everyday. Or in this case, that Victoria walks by everyday. These are photographs of a lonely vine against a retaining wall or the light filtering through the trees on the Collegiate campus. All rendered in contrasty black and white. These eight images are just part of Victoria's final portfolio.

Photo Two / Madalyn Crews

This wonderful group of people staring at you are a sample of Madalyn Crews' final Photography Two portfolio. Madalyn created several series during Photo 2, but decided to go with this series for her final display. I wish I could show you the arrangement of the images as they were displayed in the Upper School. The first six were hung over the last five and all the prints were 8 x 10 inches. It was great to see these photographs staring at people as they walked by in the lobby.

This group of images are from William Russell's Photography 2 Portfolio that was recently on display in the Upper School Lobby. William captured a great sense of light and shadow in this series of photographs. Which to my mind is what photography is all about. He not only gives us intense light and shadow, but an interesting sense of place with all the textures that abound in his photographs.

Photography Two Portfolio / Senior

This posting is the Photography Two portfolio of Alex Caruso. These photographs were recently on display in the Upper School Lobby and are now on display in the Hershey Center for the Arts. This group of images is part of Alex's final portfolio for Photo 2. The photographs were displayed with the first five hung above the second five photographs. It is hard to give a sense of the juxtaposition on a blog. The work by Alex's fellow Photo 2 students is on display now in the Upper School Lobby. I will post the portfolios of Victoria Buseck, Madalyn Crews and William Russell later after the photographs come down.

Photo One / Seniors

These images are by seniors in the Photography One classes this last semester. These photographs were recently on display in the Upper School Lobby. The images are ones they chose to display. Soon these students will be moving on, but it was a great pleasure to have them working in the darkroom this year. If you have comments about any of the images on this blog please share them below.
