The Search for Meaning project is one where the students make a list of about twenty words and then work to portray those words as photographs. They could do quite literal interpretations or find more interesting ways of conveying the meaning of the word. The selection below is a sample of some of the images that received a lot of interest during our critique. The word below each image is the one the photograph represents. As always the photographer's name precedes his or her photograph.
This is a selection of images from our landscape assignment. The goal was to capture a sense of place in the photograph. The name of the photographer precedes their image.
These images are from an assignment called Growth & Grow. This was theme for the recent all school art exhibition. The digital photography class used the idea of growth or grow as a theme for their photographs. There are various approaches as to how to portray the theme. Enjoy, and as always the photographer's name comes before his or her image.
These images are from our Abstract Assignment. The photographs reflect an exploration of pattern and design in the world around us. Enjoy not only the images, but see if you can guess what the photograph is an image of. As always the photographer's name precedes the work.
